Buff Diss is an Australian artist who specialises in creating work with tape. His works explore the nature of line and how it can intersect space, generate volume,
add texture and elements of the unexpected.
Buff’s love of traditional graffiti and studies in Computer Science influenced the evolution of his unique style of art.
His subjects matters range from mythical figures, giant hands interacting with architecture and people and geometric patterns Due to the fact he mostly uses adhesive tape instead of paint, Buffs work has a temporary nature to it which has allowed him to create art in public places without concern from authorities.
Buff’s Shed180 artwork, The Duality of Man, was one of his first works exploring the use paint.
